Guys the nooooootes.

There are enough of us to break off from the muggles and create our own Wizardland where we can go and just be magical and it’ll be a private freaking country and we will be awesome and it’ll be great and this is going to work.

well, can’t have people think I hate Harry Potter now can I?

I’m sorry, but my existence obligates me to reblog this. :/

FOREVER REBLOG

Who wouldn’t reblog this?

I just had to reblog after I had. Sorry. DEAL WITH IT.

Reblogged for the gifs <3 And ‘cause it’s obviously impossible to hate Harry Potter.

Marvel: Aptly Named

I’ll admit, I wasn’t wildly excited to see The Incredible Hulk. I just want to see all the prequels to The Avengers so I understand the backstory. I also have a friend who has vowed not to speak to me until I’ve seen all five. I was excited for the Ironmans and Thor (have yet to see Captain America but I’m excited for that too). But Hulk was the one I thought I’d just get out of the way before concluding with Captain America (and then seeing The Avengers again). I wasn’t expecting much.

What a surprise I got. It’s great. I found I much preferred Edward Norton to Mark Ruffalo. Not sure why this is but I felt I pitied Banner’s situation more when Norton played him. And he’s cuter. The plot’s exciting, there’re some great lines, I liked Banner’s character, it was basically a typical Marvel film: brilliant.

It also breaks some records in my book.

1) It is the first Marvel film I’ve seen not to have a post-credits clip.

2) It’s the first film in which I’ve seen Liv Tyler and liked her (hated her as Arwen, gosh, just so sappy and good for nothing but eye-candy for the men).

3) It is the first film I’ve seen which has someone holding a gun who realises what a gun isn’t capable of. Most movie soliders have the if-we-shoot-it-enough-we’ll-hurt-it mentality. One solider in this film says, “You think a rifle’s gonna hurt that?” Smart guy. I hope he survived.

Just, patient, and loyal? Not this particular Puff…

Thought I’d share this character description of Zacharias Smith, because I found it entertaining. (Taken from: http://www.hp-lexicon.org/wizards/a-z/s.html)

Smith, Zacharias

Hufflepuff, 1990s.

A real winner of a guy who seems to offend people every time he speaks. Zacharias joined Dumbledore’s Army after overhearing Ernie and Hannah talking about it, and was immediately a constant skeptic, not shutting up until Fred and George threaten him with a “long and lethal-looking metal instrument” (OP16) and Harry pointed out that Expelliarmus, a spell Zacharias scoffed at, had saved his life while dueling with Voldemort (OP18).

A year later, he was hardly a year wiser, pestering Ginny for details about the Department of Mysteries until she got fed up and nailed him with a Bat-Bogey Hex (HBP7). Zacharias also commentated for a Quidditch match that year, making the Gryffindors so mad that the moment the match ended, Ginny barreled straight into him on her broom (HBP14). Finally, Zacharias ended his illustrious Hogwarts career in style by not only being the only D.A. member not to fight in the Battle of Hogwarts, but by beating down first years to be the first one out when the school was evacuated (DH31).

What a great guy.

Russia’s sense of musicality has waned since the time of Shostakovich.

I asked him out and he said yes! Then we hugged and then I woke up.
But it was heaven while it lasted.
